The Campground Association owned the land, and campers
rented tents from them. Each tent was a
semi-permanent structure consisting of white canvas
stretched over a wooden frame

Many campgrounds were church-oriented. The auditorium
provided space for sermons and cultural presentations.
Some were enclosed buildings, but most
